Our holiday chalet "Oase aan de Kaag" offers space for 5 people (maximum 4 adults)
Uniquely situated on a quiet park in Warmond.
The nicest village in the Bollenstreek!
Directly on the Kagerplassen (lakes) and close to the North Sea coast!
Surrounded by meadows and lakes, you will find yourself in a real oasis, with plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling and water sports. But you will also enjoy yourself here as a culture lover or shop-aholic; bustling cities such as Amsterdam, Leiden and The Hague and Rotterdam can be reached within 30 minutes by car. Prefer to take the train? Within walking distance you will find Sassenheim station where you can easily park your car.
The North Sea with its beautiful beaches and wonderful beach clubs is about 10 km away from the chalet. In the summer you can take Yoga classes on the beach. The Kagerplassen are directly accessible from the park. You can paddle or sail with a sloop from the park. Prefer sailing? You can rent a sailing boat 15 minutes by car. We are happy to take care of the reservation of a sailboat, sup or sloop! No sailing experience, but interested in a boat trip? We offer a skipper service, so you don't have to sail yourself. You get up from the chalet and you can then fully enjoy the beauty of the Kagerplassen or a pleasant trip through the picturesque canals of Leiden. Moor at a cozy terrace or enjoy a drink on the boat en route. The location and possibilities for various activities make your stay in our cozy chalet a unique experience!
The unique location makes our chalet particularly suitable for families with older children; after all, there is something for everyone and a lot can be done independently - even without a car! After a busy day you look for the tranquility of the park again; lounge on the lovely veranda or on the sunny terrace. With the cozy outdoor lighting, modern decor and large flat screen TV, it is also a good place to relax in the evening after an active day!

ACCOMODATION
Our Oase aan de Kaag is modernly furnished and equipped with many conveniences.
The living-dining room has a TV and sound system. Nice sofas and chairs to relax, watch TV or read a book. You can eat comfortably at the round table in the living room.
The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner gas stove, an electric oven/microwave and a washing machine. There is a spacious master bedroom with a double bed and plenty of closet space, a 2nd bedroom with a double bed, a 3rd smaller bedroom with bunk beds for 2 people (no photo of it yet). A bathroom with shower and toilet. There is also a 4th room furnished as an office. Outside you will find a spacious covered veranda with lounge sofas. The south-east facing garden has many sun spots and a barbeque.
This property is located on the edge of the cultural village of Warmond. This village is focused on tourism and you will find both a forest and a beach in our village where you can enjoy a walk or swim. There are several good restaurants (from snack bar to star restaurant and everything in between), a supermarket, a bakery, an excellent butcher and a flower shop. On Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a lively market with fresh vegetables, fish, (local) cheeses, tapas and flowers. At the market you will also find the tourist office.
In short, all the ingredients to get to know the coastal area and bulb region from a comfortable accommodation, with plenty of options for activities.

Breakfast
2 km away, in the village center of Warmond, you will find a supermarket, bakery and excellent butcher's shop for all your needs. But you can also have a delicious breakfast at one of the beach bars in Noordwijk!
Around the chalet
There is a garden with a large veranda where you can enjoy a stay when the weather is nice, but also when the weather is bad.
Market
Every Saturday there is a market with fresh vegetables, fish, (local) cheeses, flowers and bread/pastry. This is also available on Wednesdays, then only for flowers and fresh fish.
Free WIFI
Free wireless internet is offered in the chalet.
Sloop with Skipper
In consultation you can rent a sloop with skipper to explore the Kagerplassen or sail the canals in picturesque Leiden .
Groceries
At about 2 km you will find a good supermarket, bakery and excellent butcher's shop.

Wassenaar has a quiet beach.
